Hi Guys! It’s Jordan from ReadGeekx3. As you probably know, the full trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 was released on Thursday. Many new and exciting scenes and clips were shown throughout the trailer, only increasing my eagerness to see this movie. And I have gathered my 5 favorite moments from this new trailer to present to you guys.
1. The Destroyed Capital
This clip puts an emphasis on the destruction that occurs during this revolution. This has to be my favorite shots in the trailer, stressing the destroyed state of the Capital.
2. President Coin
This shot shows President Coin in a new position of power with a new haircut to match. This clip gets me excited to see what role she will play in the film and also foreshadows the conclusion of the film (Those in the know will get it).
3. The Map of Pods
The refusal of the Capital to simply surrender is on full display in this clip. They’ve stocked up on deadly traps, such as the ones used in the Hunger Games, to hinder the advance of the rebel forces. A move very questionable as it seems as if it would be less effective than simply sending in Peacekeepers.
4. The Falling Parachutes
This clip is very much a clip for those who have read the books, as not everything in this shot is as it seems. I won’t spoil it, but do know that this is a very important part in the story and will leave a lasting effect.
5. Squad 451 In The Transfer
This shot shows Katniss in the Transfer, shooting into what seems to be an explosion. This should be one of the most action packed parts of the movie, so I am super excited to see it on the big screen!
I am very excited to see this movie this fall and I know I’m not alone. Tell us about your favorite moments from this trailer in the comments! The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 comes out November 20! If you liked this, please follow and check out some more of our post!
Hey guys it’s Jamari here from ReadGeekx3 with another Book review! This is review is for the Junior Novelization of Disney’s Descendants based on the script written by Josann McGibbon and Sara Parroitt.
This review is going to be more straight to the point so I don’t spoil anything for the upcoming movie since everything that happens in the book happens in the movie (since it’s literally a direct transfer from the movie script)
It picks ups right where the Prequel The Isle Of The Lost left off, Prince Ben, son of Beast and Belle is about to become king and he is first proclamation is to have four children from the Isle of the Lost brought to the kingdom of Auradon to live a normal life. And the four children chosen are Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos (Maleficent, Evil Queen, Jafar, Cruella). And they are set to attend the boarding school, Auradon Prep and learn how to be good.
The junior novel was very interesting and I can already tell that this is going to be my favorite DCOM of all time! I give the junior novel 10/10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I highly reccomand this book to those who are really excited for Descendants and who can’t wait to know what happens!
Descendants premieres on the Disney Channel on July 31 and you could see it early on Watch Disney and Disney on Demand on July 24!

At the same, you also see some of the good that is managing to survive even during the situation. Mockingly Part 2 will be released on November 20th of this year. Hey guys it’s Jamari here from ReadGeekx3 here with a review of The Isle of the Lost by Melissa De La Cruz, which is a prequel novel to the upcoming Disney Channel Movie Descendants.
So this book focuses on the descendants of the evil Disney villains and their life on the Isle of the Lost before the events of the movie. Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, Jay, son of Jafar, Carlos, son of Cruella De Vill, & Evie, daughter of The Evil Queen.
Soon there is an indication of magic found on the island after Maleficent’s bird Diablo is free from his statue prison. Diablo claims to have seen Maleficent’s scepter, The Dragon’s Eye, and Maleficent sends her daughter Mal to go set out for it, and she is later tagged along by Jay, Carlos and Evive. But the catch is, since the Dragon’s Eye is cursed, whoever touches it will be cursed to a slumber of a thousand years.
I really enjoyed this book and had a great time reading it! It’s a really fun and easy read and I give this book a rating of 5/5 ⭐️stars in a normal 5 star rating and a 10/10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in our 10 star rating! I highly reccomend this book to everyone no matter what age you are, because anyone can have a great time reading this book.
The book see up perfectly for the upcoming Disney Channel movie Descendants, which comes out this summer!
Descendants premieres on July 31st at 8pm on Disney Channel! Check for more posts coming very soon!
