Gift Ideas for Bookworms!

Hey guys! It’s Jordan here from readgeekx3 and with the holiday season upon us, many people will be rushing to buy gifts for loved ones. It can especially seem daunting to buy a gift for a *gasp* bookworm. But not to worry,
I have comprised a list of gift ideas for bookworms! So without further ado, let’s get started.

Book Sets
book sets are the perfect gift for her fans of the series and people who are new to the series alike . They’re great for enthusiast because they supply them with a collection of the books from their beloved series and some times with some special additions. They’re great for people who are new to a series because they allow them to have all the books in their reach wild their reading through the series. No more having to wait for mom to drive you to the bookstore after you finish an installment. Although there are hundreds of books it’s available, here are a few that caught my eye.

Legend Trilogy Box Set
This is a book set of one of my favorite series that I personally own. I personally love it. Not only does it come with the three hardcover books, but also with Life Before Legend, a mini book with only about 60 pages that tells some of Day and June’s, the main characters, story’s. While small, it is still bound to put a smile on any fans face. And for only $30 on Amazon, it is well worth it in my opinion

.

Harry Potter Boxed Set (hardcover & paperback)
The Harry Potter Series is one of the few book series I can call a must read, so you know I would put it on my list. This box set comes in 2 versions, hardcover and paperback. The hardcover collector edition I would recommend for fans considering it comes with house stickers and a box resembling Harry’s trunk/chest. The paper back I would recommend for those new to the series being it’s less expensive and not made for collectors. The paper back is currently $50 on Amazon and the hardcover is currently $100 on Amazon. While on the expensive side, they are certainly worth the money.

Divergent Series Complete Box Set

This is a Divergent fans dream. It comes with all three hardcover books, “The World of Veronica Roth’s Divergent Series,” a forty-eight-page booklet including faction manifestos, a faction quiz and results, a Q&A with Veronica Roth, playlists, discussion questions, series inspirations, and more! It’s currently $35 on Barnes and Nobles, it’s a almost nesscessary gift for a Divergent fan.

Bookmarks

I, and many of my fellow bookworms, hate folding the corner of my book page to keep place. That’s why bookmarks are and have always been one of the best gifts for a bookworm. Especially if it’s customized just for that special someone. They have all types of bookmarks, I have even seen some made from wood! Just one tip when buying a bookmark is to not be cheap, even if its very tempting to print out that retangular photo from online. You can find a bunch of cool bookmarks on esty.com.

Book Props

Many books these days have items that have been recreated in real life. These are also great for booknerds, why wouldn’t you love an iconic item from your favorite book? It only helps emerse a boookworm into a book even more! While they are probably many book props, some of my favorite include:

  • The Mockingjay Pin(s)
  • Harry Potter Wands (or really anything from thenoblecollection.com to be honest)
  • The One Ring (also Noble Collection)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    So thats just about it for my list! Good luck shoping and Happy Holidays!
